Our homies in Breathe Carolina are slaying it right now! Their single “Blackout,” is all over the radio and they are at the top of the charts!

It’s a great feeling to see friends succeed, so we have to give them props for everything they’ve accomplished. The music industry is such a saturated market that it’s truly an remarkable achievement to make it on the radio. The very first music event we ever sponsored actually featured Breathe on our stage. Ever since then, we have been friends and have had the chance to witness the growth of the band.

Our good friends in Alesana just completed an epic Euro tour with We Came As Romans and IWrestledABearOnce! Wish we could have been there. Looks like we need to get a tour bus in Europe! H

These guys kill it on stage, so if you have a chance to see them this year, we recommend going. They just got back from the Euro tour and haven’t announced any upcoming tour dates yet, but you’ll be sure to see them rocking HK Army gear on the next tour.

Two weeks ago we kicked off the tour with a 3 day drive across the country with The Ghost Inside on our way to start the This Means War Tour with Attack Attack, Sleeping with Sirens, Chunk! No Captain Chunk!, and Dream on Dreamer.   Stopping for supplies at Starbucks, Wal-mart, a mall somewhere in Oklahoma, and Starbucks a few more times we made it to the first stop with everyone alive yet slightly overdosing on caffeine.  These guys drink coffee like cops eat doughnuts. Showing up the first day we realize this tour has bands from 3 continents which means if you want to see them coming to this tour is a hell of a lot easier then trying to catch these guys in their home countries.  Chunk! No Captain Chunk! is from Paris, France, Dream on Dreamer is from Australia, The Ghost Inside reps the west coast from LA, Attack Attack is from Ohio and Sleeping with Sirens is from Florida.  Shredding is international and these guys all put on a great show.  Make sure to get out when they roll through your home town.

Alright boys! Gather the troops! We are coming HHHot to the Ultimate Woodsball League (UWL) this weekend at SC Village! We are busting out the camo gear and will be playing the open division. Be there or be square! HHH

Mr. Brainwash is back in town. The main character of Banksy’s notorious movie “Exit Through the Gift Shop”, opened his new show on New Year’s day. Life is Beautiful 2011. An entire building in the middle of Hollywood was filled with massive installations, sculptures, paintings and much more. Four floors of pure remixed pop art that strikes back at the rumors and comments about Mr Brainwash from the art world. The show is spectacular in its size and ambition. Mr. Brainwash is rumored to be the vessel for Shepard Fairey and Banksy to retail their art pieces to the world. It is still a mystery. Steve Nabi X HK Army
